Adele Nathan and Margaret Ernst. Hardcover. Educational book for school age children. A picture on every page of all early locos including Tom Thumb, Best Friend, Atlantic and York. Subjects range from the earliest granite quarry loco-like machine to an oil-burning Mallet. Pages unfolded and in good shape, but finger marks throughout. Cloth cover shows same finger marks and there is a light mildew smell from storage in a damp environment.
